This policy explains what personal information Amuwa Corporation ("Amuwa", "we") collects through amuwa.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Who we are

2. What we collect
- Contact and demo form: your name, phone number and country, business name, and optionally your email address, the service you are interested in and your message. We also record the page you submitted from and the time.
- Newsletter: your email address, the page you subscribed from, the date, and your consent to receive the newsletter.
- Calls, WhatsApp and email: if you contact us directly, we receive your number or email address and the content of your messages.
- Website assistant (Comet): Comet runs inside your browser and answers from pre-written information. We do not store what you type into Comet.
- Analytics (only if you accept): if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information such as pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and the buttons you click (for example, call or WhatsApp buttons). We do not use it to identify you personally.
3. Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, arrange a demo and provide the services you ask for.
- To send a confirmation email and, if your enquiry is still open, one follow-up reminder.
- To send the newsletter, only if you subscribed.
- To understand and improve how our website is used (analytics, only with your consent).
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your data for automated decisions that have legal effects on you.
4. Where it is stored and who can see it
Form and newsletter submissions are stored in a Google Sheet in Amuwa's Google Workspace account, processed by Google Apps Script, and emails are sent through Google. Access is limited to Amuwa staff who need it to respond to you. Our service providers (such as Google, and Meta when we communicate with you on WhatsApp) process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. Some of these providers may store data outside India.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer (then for as long as needed for the contract and legal requirements). Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw your consent (for example, unsubscribe from the newsletter or switch off analytics) or raise a grievance. Email ceo@amuwa.com with the subject "Privacy request". We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Cookies
The website stores a few small preferences in your browser (for example, your analytics choice). Analytics cookies are used only if you click "Accept" on the cookie notice. To change your choice, clear this website's data in your browser and choose again.
8. Security
We use HTTPS, limit access to staff who need it, and protect our accounts with strong passwords and two-step verification. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
